UHS Homecoming 2026
Get Ready to Rumble October 9th at Knights Stadium!
This year's homecoming is full of fun and excitement well ahead of actual homecoming week! As per tradition, each building will have special dress-up days during homecoming week, an all-school assembly at the High School featuring our athletes, cheer and dance teams, as well as plenty of competitive spirit with inter-building competitions. One important thing to note - High School students will be dismissed as after buses have departed to take students back to the other buildings, and Dysart high-schoolers who ride the bus will be able to take the early buses back to the middle school. All other buildings will dismiss students for the day at regularly scheduled times.
This year's homecoming celebration is featuring a tailgating party on Friday night hosted by the Union Booster Club. This party is open to Union and Columbus fans alike, and will feature music, food, games/activities, and raffles. The party starts at 4:30pm, just ahead of the Freshman/Sophomore game, and ends at 7:30pm, after the 7:00pm scheduled kickoff of the Varsity game.
The firs 300 kids to arrive on Friday will receive a free light-up lanyard, courtesy of Henninger Electric. The lanyard is red with a red circular Knights logo pendant.
